Dr. Sunshine has been in private practice in the field of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine for over 10 years. He is the medical director and founder of OC Sports and Wellness, an integrative medical practice that emphasizes illness prevention. Dr, Sunshine believes that optimum health is achieved through a balance of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Dr. Sunshine has strategically partnered with other leading integrative health care professionals to provide patients direct access to experts the areas of nutrition education, physical therapy/active release therapy and acupuncture.

Dr. Sunshine is a competitive age-group triathlete who supports the local triathlon community. He is a team physician at Concordia University and works with local college and high school athletes. He is an attending physician who provides educational opportunities for medical students and family medicine residents interested in pursuing a career in Family and Sports Medicine.
